QOTD: Thinking About Getting A Nintendo Wii For Our Kids For Christmas. Need Some Advice Please.?

My Wife and I are planning on getting a wii for our three kids, 12 yr. old girl, 9 & 10 year old boys, for Christmas. We are planning on spending about $300 and wondering what equipment we need with the wii. Also wondering what games would you recommend for kids this age. We know nothing about a wii and would appreciate some advice.

i want to buy the black wii but the problem is, its a limited edition and for example, if i do buy the black wii, i dont know if they will be also selling the accessories for the black wii for example, the remote, wheel but all in black. i am asking this is because it would look weird having a black wii console with white remote, wheel etc.
i live in the Uk and was wondering even when the black wii is limited edition is over, will they stick with selling black wii accessories?

this is the method i HAVE to use…
i take the Wii’s audio cables and put them in a slitter then put the slitter in my PC Mic slot. what is the best audio recording software (quality wise) for this method?

Having a party and needing ideas as to what Wii games are the best for parties – not kiddies stuff, we are all 23-35 years old!
