Now, you have tried various steps to rectify your iPad’s issues but nothing seems to work. You finally decide that it may be time to restore or update your iPad.   We’ll show you how after the break.

While trying to do that using iTunes in the middle of this process, everything stops and the screen of the iPad reads- ‘Connect to iTunes’. Even on the computer, iTunes reads an error message. How do you resolve this issue? Follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes.

Go into iTunes on your computer and ‘Check for updates’.  Make sure you have an active internet connection running. Also make sure that your security/firewall does not block iTunes from connecting to the Apple server.

Step 2: Make sure you are running the latest version of your computers OS.

If you have a Mac, press the Apple button and go to software updates to update your Mac OSX. On a Windows computer go into the Windows update center to update to the latest version. Make sure you have an active internet connection.
