No, the iPod Touch does not have function for making calls, it also does not track digital camera, have slower processors and has the same look of the iPhone.
The iPhone costs more than triple the iPod Touch.
But unfortunately does not have the triple technology
I hope that has helped you with your doubts.

Depends on the model of Touch and iPhone you’re talking about. The 2g touch is more powerful than the 2g iPhone, but not the 3gs. besides which, you can get a ten dollar headset mic for your iTouch, and just use Skype. The camera in the iPhone is and always has been terrible, and a sacrifice I was willing to make easily considering an iPod Touch is ~$300, whereas an iPhone is ~$900 up front, or ~$2300 over a telecom contract period. (Skype costs three dollars a month to call all of North America.)
