You must go online before your friend code will show up. Go on the internet (refered as wifi) then a code will appear above your licence. I hope this has helped you =)
The game manual should mention Wi-Fi stuff. Find the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection (multiplayer) area of the game and go online. Somewhere there should be your FC.
you won’t get a Friend Code until you go into WFC. from that point on, your FC will show at the top of your profile (on the profile selection screen)
