QOTD: Is The Iphone 3g Plan Worth It?

Every so often, Code Retard features a QOTD or “question of the day” post on various topics we find interesting. Hope you enjoy today’s question!

I am planning on getting an iphone but the plans are so expensive and am wondering if its worth it. the plan i am looking at will be about 85 dollors a month , were as i could get a normal phone for about half that easily. tough every thing about the iphone is awesome , the apps , the internet, the ipod , its just so sweet, so tell me what you think I should do.
