Every so often, Code Retard features a QOTD or “question of the day” post on various topics we find interesting. Hope you enjoy today’s question!
I read somewhere that most induction technologies are compatible, and I just picked up the Energizer induction charger for my Wii remotes. It would be awesome to save the investment of the Powermat dock and just pick up the battery connector for my iPhone.

i have an Energizer induction charger, and i would bet heavily that Energizer deliberately made it so that they will NOT work. the WiiMote is held in place by magnets, and if it’s not placed correctly it won’t charge. any other chargable pack probably won’t register as “in place”, so the charger won’t come on
i do love the charger, though!
