QOTD: How Do I Play Psp Games?

Every so often, Code Retard features a QOTD or “question of the day” post on various topics we find interesting. Hope you enjoy today’s question!

I have found a few games in .cso format and put it in the \psp\game directory through USB but the game is not listed in PSP menu.
I’m new to this little thing, any help would be great. I know it’s the PSP2001, upgraded the browser and upgraded the system.
Thanks all!

first of all you need a custom firmware to be able to play games that are in the CSO format and once you have that, you should put the game in the ISO folder in the root directory. search the web for custom firmware for your PSP(slim)2001
