QOTD: Are Youtube Videos The Only Videos That You Can Watch Through The Wii Internet Channel?

Every so often, Code Retard features a QOTD or “question of the day” post on various topics we find interesting. Hope you enjoy today’s question!

Since its free now, I just downloaded the Wii internet channel and I love it!
I went to Youtube.com, and I could watch videos there. But then I tried some other video sites and the videos wouldn’t work. So I was just wondering if Youtube is the only site that will play videos on the Wii?
Or are there any other sites that videos work on?

The Wii uses Flash Player 7, so any video hosting website that allows Flash Player 7 or lower, then it should be able to work on the Wii.
The Wii doesn’t offer much video watching though.

    no, it’s the only one.

The newest version of the Internet Channel has Flash Lite 3.1 (the equivalent of Flash 8), which doesn’t give you many options.
I know for a fact that Dailymotion.com works, but that’s about all I know.

The only one I know is dailymotion.com. If you want to listen to music you can go to http://www.finetune.com/wii. I know that homestarrunner.com works
