My recommendation to you is to refrain from upgrading if you want to run homebrew or ISOs and hope that there will be an exploit. If you have an original PSP, look on youtube for instructions on how to make a pandora's battery and how to install a custom firmware. PLEASE NOTE: If you try to hack any other model with whatever hacking method on your current PSP, you will brick it (it will freeze, and there's no way to undo it). Hope it helps.
