Every so often, Code Retard features a QOTD or “question of the day” post on various topics we find interesting. Hope you enjoy today’s question!
I have a PSP 3000 with version 6.10. I know that there are a lot of cool games for hombrew PSP’s.
I would like someone to tell me the good the bad and how to make my PSP have homebrew.

If you have any model other then the original (fat) PSP (model 100x), you’re out of luck. The newer PSPs (the slim model, 200x and brite model, 300x) are unhackable if you have any firmware newer then 5.03. The PSP Go! in currently unhackable.
My recommendation to you is to refrain from upgrading if you want to run homebrew or ISOs and hope that there will be an exploit.
If you have an original PSP, look on youtube for instructions on how to make a pandora’s battery and how to install a custom firmware.
PLEASE NOTE: If you try to hack any other model with whatever hacking method on your current PSP, you will brick it (it will freeze, and there’s no way to undo it).
Hope it helps.
i thought only the wii could have homebrew, u could check youtube for faster results.
