    Warranty, and possible need to return a faulty item is an important factor. UK import tax/VAT is another; also possibility of it being an imitation.

    With Vodafone and Orange about to launch the iphone 3gs on their networks, it’s likely the prices will drop, or you’ll be able to get a better deal on a contract when everyone starts getting more competitive. Prob best to hold out for a few months.

    When I was in china there wasn’t a lot of difference in price with new tech stuff. If you buy a cheaper one it’s probably going to be fake.
