I used to have internet on my wii but stopped working, so I was wondering can you download (and still legaly buy) them from your computer then use the SD card to put them on your wii?

Yup there is a way but it is illegal.Who cares tho right? lol You need to get the homebrew channel though. go to http://www.wiihacks.com. Type in “install homebrew channel” and their will be a buck load of tutorials just on that. Once you have the homebrew channel installed you can now get any wii ware, virtual ware game ever made plus you can play dvds, music and get actual wii games for free. Its a long process if you dont know a friend that has done it but if youre really smart unlike me XD. It should take like 3-4days to fully hack your wii. If you just want the internet channel, it shouldnt take you long at all.
Homebrew channel would work for except for one big issue, you said your internet no longer works on your wii. You can not load your wii with homebrew unless you have internet, don’t start the program without it because you will screw up your wii.
