1. Go to the home button and click wii remote settings
2. Above the rumble setting there will be two symbols one minus and one plus
3. Click the minus symbol until the white bars disappear
4. Then play in silence

yes everyone has to put up with it even me. I try to play it in the morning but the remote keeps making sounds.
so my trick is to play games like de blob.
it does not make sounds, but games like that are hard to find.

press the home button and go to remote settings. you should see a plus and minus buttons. click the minus button until the bar is empty. if you have an questions feel free to ask.

Ok,click on the HOME MENU button on the Wii Mote,and then click Wii Remote Options and from there I think you’ll figure it out.

i normally press home on the controller and go on wii remote settings and second thing down from the top is volume and you turn it down

If you click the Home button on the Wiimote (Like a house symbol) I don’t know where it is exactly but I can recall a Volume Symbol which could enable you to turn down the volume

GO TO HOME MENU, WHERE IT SAYS WII REMOTE SETTINGS AND THEN TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!!!!!!
