Even if you could, it would be a really bad idea. The Nintendo messages inform you on important updates, and it gives you important news, like the fact that the Internet Channel has been updated to a better version of Flash and that it is now free again. You&#039;d be left out of the loop on all of this if you didn&#039;t receive Nintendo&#039;s messages.
If it&#039;s the flashing blue light that bothers you, you can set it to dim or off in the Wii Settings under &quot;Wiiconnect24&quot; and &quot;Slot Illumination&quot;.</description>

		<description>Check if it can be  done through the settings...on the bottom left of the wii menu......BTW you should update your Wii. It has a great new update..the Internet Channel is free now. and it has a better flash player.</description>
