As you've been told, Jane Bennet from Pride and Prejudice fits.
There is one character who is never seen in the book, but she overshadows the entire thing and the book carries her name. It is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, and she is the first Mrs. de Winter.
Rachel (My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier) was a beautiful widow.
Another character would be Scarlett O'Hara. The book says she really wasn't beautiful, but few men realized that; she was considered beautiful by them.
Anna Karenina is another female character that comes to mind.
Emma Bovary (Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert) was supposed to be beautiful.
Emma Woodhouse (Emma by Jane Austen) was supposed to be very pretty. So was Jane Fairfax.
Marianne Dashwood (Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen) was beautiful, and Elinor was very pretty.
Elizabeth Eliot (Persuasion by Jane Austen) was physically beautiful. Anne, the main character, was very pretty.
I seem to be drawing a blank. There are many other characters that fit the beautiful, or at least very pretty, description. If I think of some others, I might add them.
***Edit: I forgot Scheherazade in One Thousand and One Nights. She was described as beautiful.
There is also Belle in the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.
The App store came with the release of iPhone 3G.
