Steps to Rename SharePoint Servers:
Run stsadm command after the server has been renamed:
stsadm -o renameserver -oldservername
Recreate Central Admin:
psconfig -cmd adminvs -provision -port 22222 -windowsauthprovider “onlyusentlm”
Go into Central Admin and Rename AAM’s
