When doing this 2.2.1 firmware upgrade/update. will I loose all cydia apps and have to start everthing over again. I have recently installed this app backup from cydia. So when I do all this stuff and let itunes take care of the rest should be prepared to loose everything and start over and also should I take my sim card out. If the phone is is DFU mode and you click shift restore, the itunes has to check some database to identify the phone and doesnt let you install the custom software, however if you just shift restore when the phone is hooked to itunes it works!
