Windows does recognize the guitar as a controller but GHIII does not match the input properly, rendering it useless. I have used an application called "Joy2Key" to emulate the input as if it were keyboard strokes, that works great.

It's not that simple. Someone needs to write a Windows driver to communicate with the USB input coming from the effects pedal. It's the same reason a PS3 Sixaxis controller won't work when plugged into a PC unless there is a driver for it.

Does anyone know if this PS3 controller will work with the PC version of Guitar Hero 3? The PC version only comes wired, but since this uses USB I'm hoping it'll work on a PC too.
