I’m using xp and w7 in the same computer (Therefore same IP). I accessed remotely to this computer when it was on W7. the problem is that I can not access it when it is on xp. Any help will be really appreciated

had SBS 2000 with 10 rdp clients using 3390,3391, etc. – Installed new server using SBS 2008 and none of them work anymore

It’s not required to have a Windows Server OS to enable remote desktop connections. Windows XP will support it too.

dude very intresting i’ll try it … for this what OS is required,I don’t have window server, may i configure in XP?

Looks like you need Windows 2003 or 2008 Server which supports multiple simultaneous remote desktop connections to the same computer. Any regular variety of Windows XP won’t allow this.

I want a hack to run UI tests in my machine while I am doing some other work in the same machine.

So I want to make a Remote Desktop connection to the same machine, so that I run the UI test in that console.

But when I start such a connection – it says that “The client could not connect. You are already connected to the console of this computer. A new console session cannot be established.”

What to do?
