Connect to Your DS from Your Wii’s Mii Channel

This video shows that there is something built into the Mii Channel on the Nintendo Wii that allows users to connect their DS’s. For what purpose? That’s for any DS game that can interface with the Mii Channel so you can import your Miis into your DS games. As of today, that’s just DS Personal Trainer. At any rate, performing these steps gives users an extra "Connect to DS" button in the Mii Channel. To enable Nintendo DS connectivity, start the Mii Channel on your Wii, then press in this order the buttons A, B, 1, 2, keeping the 2 button held down. Then the option to connect appears on the Mii Channel.

i have tried this – and it worked.
however, i don’t know what to do from the ds to connect to the wii. i have a phat old ds by the way
any help would be appreciated thanks!
