[ # ] Wii Music Licensed Track List

Wii Music has already been released in Japan and we have a pretty good idea how silly we’re going to look what it’s going to look like, but we won’t know in North American until it hits store shelves on October 20th. Though it’s a few days away, we already know what licensed songs will be on the game:
- "Chariots of Fire" - Vangelis
- "Daydream Believer" - The Monkees
- "Every Breath You Take" - Sting
- "I’ll Be There" - Jackson 5
- "I’ve Never Been to Me" - Charlene
- "Material Girl" - Madonna
- "Please Mr. Postman" - The Marvellettes
- "September" - Earth, Wind and Fire
- "Sukiyaki" - Kyu Sakamoto
- "The Loco-Motion" - Little Eva
- "Woman" - John Lennon
- "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" - Wham!
- "Jingle Bell Rock" - Bobby Helms
- "Do-Re-Mi" - Rogers and Hammerstein (from The Sound of Music)
That’s 14 of the 50 songs on the full Wii Music track listing, the rest will be songs either in the public domain or under Nintendo’s own licensed domain. I can’t really diss the track list on Wii Music because it isn’t half bad at all. Overall I’d say I’m pretty happy with the music selection and it fits very well with the Wii Music cheesy air-everything-instrument vibe.
