For a limited time only, EA is offering Command and Conquer: Red Alert for free on its website to promote its upcoming new real-time strategy Red Alert 3. Previously EA had offered Command & Conquer Gold for free so this is the same deal and completely legal. The download links have been up since Sunday but there’s no telling when EA may pull the plug on this awesome freebie. Don’t delay and grab your Soviet and Allied Discs before it’s too late. If you put in a pre-order for Red Alert 3, EA will also throw in Red Alert 2 for free as well! Red Alert has always been known not just for its fun RTS gameplay but also well-done and dramatic cutscenes between campaigns. Red Alert 3 will be no different, featuring the live-action talents of famed actors including Gemma Atkinson, Tim Curry (Hunt for Red October), Andrew Divoff (Lost), Jenny McCarthy (Playmate of the Year), Ivana Milicevic (Casino Royale), Jonathan Pryce (Pirates of the Caribbean), JK Simmons (Spider-Man), Autumn Reeser (The OC), Peter Stormare (Prison Break), and George Takei (Star Trek).
