“Nintendo takes a global approach to piracy and has pursued the illegal game copying devices in 11 countries this past year,” said the company.

“Nintendo has worked with enforcement officials in Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Spain, UK, and the US, seizing close to 30,000 infringing game copying products, as well as taking actions against those distributors and manufacturers.”

One day after they announced a lawsuit against manufacturers and distributors of the R4 Revolution device, Nintendo has reported that they have already seized over 30,000 piracy devices which they believe infringe company copyrights.

The lawsuit, a joint venture with 54 other publishers hopes to get injunctions on the R4 and other devices that promote piracy on the Nintendo DS.

There is another reason to to own an R4 .

    Homebrew.

Doesnt mean your a pirate !
    ——————————————-

However .. there are more than 1000 English game releases for the DS !

@ an average of £20 EACH.

    So for a KID to own a __KID’S TOY__ will cost a stagering £ 20,000 ….

Seriously f .u nintendo for not controling the prices of the games properly !

The adverts for the games look COOL.
Usually the game sucks with about 5 minutes gameplay.

Brain Training.. LOL .. worth about 10 pence / 5 cents….OMG free games on the web are 100 times better.

SOME , only some games are worth the money , eg… New Super Mario Bros.

So personaly I wish I had an R4 so that I could try the games before I buy them !
