American Airlines already ran a test-pilot of a in air WiFi system a few months ago, and is now expanding its in air WiFi services to 15 more planes. This test is not to demonstrate the effects of WiFi on the plane’s systems but to see how well wireless connections work at high speeds and the reliability of them.
