Playing Lego Star Wars on your Nintendo DS is about to get a lot more geeky should you decide to equip yourself with a Jedi’s most trusted weapon: the lightsaber stylus! With two stylus packs to choose from, you can grab a three-pack with Yoda, Obi-Wan’s, and Darth Vader’s lightsabers or you can splurge on the two-pack with lightsaber styluses that actually light up!
Yoda’s green and Darth Vader’s red lightsabers are shown in greater detail above. It’s great to see that each stylus’s handle is different from the other and is accurate to the movies. It’s no wonder the attention to detail and craftsmanship as these lightsaber styli are official Lucas Arts licensed products and are shipping on July 31 for $7.99.
The light up pack, if you are a Jedi warrior gamer afraid of the dark and needs a light when playing under the bedsheets, only comes in a pack of two and costs twice as much: $16.99 also shipping on July 31.
Note that neither lightsaber pack’s styluses will actually fit in your DS so that is one drawback. But think of all the nerdy Star Wars fangirls you’ll be attracting next time you whip out your DS accesorized with Darth Maul’s red glowing lightsaber. The Force will be with you… always.
