i am facing the same problem. have you found out how you can remove the iphone passcode lock when the iphone is already locked? i cant enter the phone settings as well.

Try and make a phone call and you will be asked if you want to unlock your SIM. If one or more favourite contacts set up and you have left the double home key press action as default, then just press home key twice and tap the first contact you see… Under 5 seconds…
