Sony has just released for paid download three new tracks for Rock Band on the PS3. For $1.99 a pop, you can download:
- Sonic Youth – Kool Thing
- The Clash – Train in Vain (Stand by Me)
- Blondie – Hanging on the Telephone
Also worth noting, you can download for a special limited-time price of $0.99 these tracks:
- Black Tide – Shockwave
- The Grateful Dead – Sugar Magnolia

This summer my boyfreind purchased guitar hero for playstation2 for our home which has 4 children( 5 counting him)ages 7,11,15 and 19.We liked it so well that for Christmas he purchased the rock band and I am was considering starting a guitar hero night in our hometown for other children to play this wonderful game by getting donations of games and tv’s.But I am having second thought about the whole thing and about the quaility of the game instruments themselves.We had to return the first guitar after just a day or two of having it,but it was the least costly so we upgraded and bought the more expensive guitar.my boyfriend decaled it out as he did with the first one and our things are very well taken care of.In fact they stay in our room.Now after only a few short months the upgraded guitar has quit working and we cannot play our guitar hero games with the rock band guitar. Having this concern I wonder if I should go before our town councel on January 6th about my idea for our children in this small community and should I recommend this product to anyone else.We have had others buy your game after playing this at our house (we have teenagers) and they loved it.
