Three years in the making, Nathan Tolbert’s homebrew GBA game Anguna: Warriors of Virtue featuring art by Chris Hildenbrand is finally available for your playing pleasure via ROM and emulator or physical GBA cartridge. If you’ve ever enjoyed the Legend of Zelda, you will surely enjoy this game.
It is a short but exciting action-adventure game, reminiscant of the original Legend of Zelda.
Anguna includes:
* 5 dungeons and a large overworld to explore
* Multiple weapons and items including: a sword, bow & arrows, bear traps, dynamite, lantern, magic boots, and more
* Many hidden rooms, secrets, and powerups
* Lots of interesting enemies and boss monsters
Knowing that it was written and illustrated entirely by just two dedicated individuals and is completely free to download with no strings attached makes you appreciate Anguna even more than if it were a game studio production. Looks like these guys certainly didn’t need to take any homebrew classes. You can’t go wrong if you’re playing a game written by gamers for gamers, so give Anguna a try today.
