But, millions of (ex-) Mac owners have already been through or are in that position. Or have you only just stepped into the Apple scene at the latter days of its glory, after they&#039;ve &quot;switched&quot; from the IBM CPU to the current Intel? 

At the time of their switch, many of us were hoping they would adopt AMD instead, since that way at least the world wouldn&#039;t be stuck with so many MacBooks and Mac Minis that came with the infamous Intel GMAs. With AMD, the worst you&#039;d expect for onboard graphics back then was ATI 1200 series, which was and is still vastly more competent than the onboard graphics one would find on the most recent Intel netbooks.</description>
