Xylo T2 Reflect Chrome iPhone case

Cases made for the iPhone in the market today cover most of the iPhone… namely the sides and the back with a few holes for the buttons and camera. But the screen has been largely neglected as an area to protect with a case. The few cases that do protect the screen usually require some kind of flipping or opening to expose the screen when you need to use it which is a major hassle not to mention it’s totally uncool-looking. Most iPhone users just settle for a screen protector or use nothing at all (to give credit, Apple’s screen is fairly scratch resilient). But with the introduction of Xylo’s T2 Reflect Chrome iPhone case, screen and case protection have been combined into one seamless product. The world’s first hard screen shell cover for the iPhone not only offers great protection without the need for a separate screen protector, but is able to transfer your touch and motion through ultrasonic waves from the case directly to your iPhone’s touchscreen. That’s the true beauty of this German designed case. Of course, the case itself it quite stunning. Before you go on about how their Surface Xylo Wave technology (no I didn’t make that up) sounds like a load of hot air, just know that this is patent pending technology… whatever that means.

The Xylo case’s front face looks to be chrome while the back and side casing is transparent. The chrome part seems to be quite reflective, true to its name, but it looks like it might inhibit the viewability of the screen. For $34.99 though, it’s definitely competitively priced, especially when you consider that it’s one of the sleeker looking cases out there plus you don’t need to spend extra money on a screen protector. If I didn’t already buy my crummy case and screen protector already, I’d definitely give the Xylo case a try. It’s also American made, you won’t find too many products like that anymore.
