Geeks have to get around too and the car is a good place for new tech. Meet my current stereo:
This is the Pionner DEH-P7500MP, pictured is the Premier version…same thing. It’s geeky because it can play MP3 CDs. What’s so geeky about that? It’s more than 5 years old. Think about it. MP3s were not standard issue on new cars back then. I decided to replace the unit because I’m tired of burning CDs. It’s a waste.
Meet the new unit:
The Pioneer DEH-P7000BT.
Here are some quick features:
- Built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling
- Advance iPod Controls
- USB input
The last feature is the best part. With a USB port that can play audio files from a flash drive, that would mean no more CD burning for me. Much more environmentally friendly. And the Bluetooth thing is nice too.
