EeePC and WinXP

Thanks to the EeePC and other laptops in the up-and-coming ultra portable mobile laptop market, Microsoft has reconsidered its deadline to phase out Windows XP this coming June. It looks like Windows XP will be here to stay… until 2010 at least. Microsoft said that they will continue to sell Windows XP Home Edition until a year after Windows 7, Vista’s successor, gets released, which could mean that Windows XP might be around until 2012 if all goes according to plan.
