Mr Mirakichi one of the icons of the PSP scene that brought a mass of Japanese hackers into PSP Homebrew has now released the first public version of his Gameboy Color Emulator for the Nintendo Wii. Here’s a video of the emulator running. Boy, seeing GBC Zelda running from the Wii Zelda Twilight Hack is kind of surreal.

Since we’re on the subject of emulators for the Wii, Vicious1988 has released an unofficial version of the SNES9x emulator for the Nintendo Wii with support for SD Card front loading finally. Here’s build 2 of frontSD menu. It loads from the rom directory of your SDcard and has pages (no more trying to render 999 short filenames at a time). Filenames are still limited to 50 characters (including extension). Left and right on d-pad move through pages.
