[ # ] Hacking Refurbished iPhones, Fixing No Signal on iPhone

AT&T Refurbished iPhones come with version 1.0.2 This version doesn’t hack well with the current versions of ZiPhone.
If you just try to plug in and run ZiPhone, what happens is you can not use the cell phone features on the iPhone. The top of the screen with say no service.
What you need to do is:
1. Upgrade your iPhone to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4
To do this, have iTunes installed. Plug you phone into the computer and hold the power button on top of the phone and the home button (the circle one under the screen) The screen on your iPhone will go black, when that happens wait 2 seconds and release the pwoer button but keep you holding down the home button. This will signal iTunes to update your phone.
2. Download the new ZiPhone and install as the video in the past posts show.

Not too sure how I did it but it didn’t seem so complicated. I just started iTunes, plugged in the iPhone, accepted the prompt to update firmware in iTunes and then it started to update.
