ASCGEN is a freeware Windows tool that lets you “convert images into high quality ASCII art - text that accurately represents the original image. The first program of its kind to support variable width fonts, and real-time output adjustment.” ASCII, in case you don’t know, stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange and is a standard character-coding scheme used by computers to display letters, digits and special characters like punctuation. The great thing about this program, besides the fact that it’s open source and totally free, is the ability to tweak the lightness and other settings of the image in real time. With this awesome program you can make your own ASCII art stick it to __logo@rtiste__ from ]]5up3r-leet-hax0r[[ group (if you didn’t get that, you’ve never read warez nfos so just pretend I said stick it to the man).
