Recently we wanted to get some Macs at work so that we could test our web applications. Our company mostly runs on Windows 2003 machines. So our solution? Hide them with our PC’s!Â
The new Mac Mini is perfect for hiding behind a monitor or around the corner somewhere. No one can really see it.
Once you get that hooked up, what you should first do is change the wallpaper to something more bland/windowish, and shrink/move/hide the dock, because thats a tall tell give away. Other than that, you are pretty much golden.
What does help is if you have more than one monitor. Actually, the more the better. Here is another co-workers setup with his mac. Can you spot the Mac monitor? This guy is pretty messy, excuse the mess on his desk…dang geek coders!
